Feel but don't dwell
Feel but don’t dwell But how?

For me, deep breathing helps. I know this sounds simple, but in moments of stress we can find ourselves spinning.
Extract yourself from the stress and allow yourself to decompress. In your car, in your closet, the bathroom, or wherever in that moment you feel a flood of emotions you want to balance but feel.
Also Identify what's happening. What's triggering this emotion? What is the emotion you are experiencing? How have you handled this feeling in the past?
Practice taking in things one at a time. Don't rush.
Don't rush in your thoughts, coming up with conclusion after conclusion or solution after solution.
Be still. There is so much comfort in being.
Another way to not dwell on all the emotions you are feeling is to, again, believe in something higher than you.
Regardless of the blog post topic I emphasis this, online and in real life. Because we are only human.
There is comfort in knowing God and that he is powerful and higher than us.
One of my favorite bible verses:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9
A lot of our emotions are rooted from all that goes on in the world effect on our ego.
I could dive into this, but not today.
Don't rely on yourself, realize that you have the power to turn let go.
To not hold on so tight to these feelings because of something you can't control.
Don't get me wrong I believe God gave us power, especially over our circumstances.
The power comes with realizing we need Him. The power is within us.
Now that a positive dwelling. God dwells in us and never leaves our side.
We can depend on him to pour into our intuition. There for we know we can take one step at a time.
Everything we need is already within. Let that fact soothe whatever you feel.
