Out of Sight, Out of Mind
Truly though

I cannot thank God enough for the ability to return to self.
This past year has been a very social year. Sharing myself with others, sharing quality time, sharing energy, sharing my space, and so much more.
I came in with confidence, as a yapper, and one that had sprinkles of who I used to be.
As I reflect, this social openness has led to a bit of sadness. From seeing people's ways of thinking and how it may have them in a painful cycle. It hurts knowing I don’t have the capacity, nor is it my place, to play savior.
With sharing being my love language, I have shared vulnerable things with people I was close with at the time. When distance came about, it hurt my heart that I've shared so much time, space, energy, and even expressed heartaches to someone who is no longer that close in my life.
As I approach a new season of my life, I am reminded not to dwell. Not to focus on my emotions so much. As y'all will see in another blog post, your girl be feeling everything! But I have to transmute those strong feelings and create.
I am continuing to pour into myself and the life I am destined to live. What I cannot see, my nerves are not aware of, unless I mentally emphasize it.
